I'm 1hr away from driving into work and just “having the talk” with my director and boss.
I realise there are many in much worse situations and don't want this to be a woe is me pitty party but I'd like your guys thoughts.
Job pays very well, though being a relatively young guy compared to everyone else there I beleive my progression will be stiffled because the company operates like its 2003.
Very old school and alot of admin which I'd usually pass on to an admin team (which they told me they wouldn't spoil me with haha) just so my focus can shift onto my actual job of design/construction etc. This job seems like a retirement destination type and I'm only 30 and feel like I'm just getting started.
I've noticed my boss also tends to ignore me as opposed to other colleagues who share similar…characristics which didn't bother me massively at first but I guess just adds to it. They've also asked me to get rid of one of my wfh days too.
Anyways- not too horrible but I've lost motivation and figured I'd see what outside opinions would be.
