This is just ridiculous

So I worked for a veterinarian for 6 years. He was a huge alcoholic bigot that believed I never deserved a wage even after we became short staffed. He made a habit of not paying me on payday. First time my bank ever overdrawn because of him. I was done. I found a nice security job, it was great but it wasn't full time and it was an hour away. Worked out wonderfully for about 5 months then gas prices soared and I had to quit. They wouldn't give me a gas stipend or anything even though I was one of their best workers, trained new hires etc. I work in a factory for a month. It's going okay, huge waste of potential, learned all the machines on my line. A horrible verbal fight breaks out because this guy isn't sober and is going off on everything and even went…

A horrible verbal fight breaks out because this guy isn't sober and is going off on everything and even went after me. I was so angry I was shaking and ready to throw my life away. So I quit before that happened because I knew I couldn't be in the same room as him again without an altercation, and that nothing was going to happen discipline wise to him.

So I get a pathetic security job near me. Been there two weeks. Bothered HR today going “hey where's my first check” and we go back and forth after they show me their pay schedule. Apparently they had wanted me to work three whole weeks before I even saw a dime. This company already sent me a uniform with holes, hardly pays above minimum, and they make you pay for your bg check and drug screen.

Now no matter how I handle this, I'm not getting paid by anyone until next month. I have another job lined up for a bank a half hour away that I'll likely start next week assuming that their webinar crap can be done at the library or in the bank itself. Because I am not getting paid until next month, I can't even afford to go to the thrift store to get outfits like the bank wants me to wear, and I only have one pair of pants, and two shirts that is viable for their uniform.

I wanted to try and work both to pay off debts, and get myself in a better situation because I have no safety net, no family, and I live alone. I'm just absolutely ready to quit trying all together. The only reason I have food rn is because a neighbor gave me stuff she was going to throw out otherwise.
