This is why office workers want to work from home

I work from home, and went in the office for 1 day for I-9 verification. I had never been there before. I bought a new outfit to make a good impression. My directors boss greets me by saying my shirt is “unprofessional”. He also said I can’t bring a lunch in a plastic grocery bag because it looks bad. Then he threatens to write up my boss because the sticky notes on his desk were unorganized. And then I saw him yell and rant at some poor guy for a single chair in a conference room not matching the others. Also the office was filled with passive-aggressive signs, such as “only 1 photo allowed on desk”, had beige walls, fluorescent lights, no windows etc. Love my job and my coworkers, and the pay is decent. But I could never exist in an environment like that. This is pretty much exactly…
