So I work in an internet company and I put my 30-day notice about 2 weeks ago because I'm sick and tired of closing the store alone even though we have a full staff, I'm closing alone today even though two employees just left, I'm opening and closing all my own tomorrow for 6 hours, and I might be closing alone the day after. The only reason somebody would stay is to either capitalize on hours before they leave or to build up a commission, but I haven't made enough sales to actually hit commission, so now I just need somebody's opinion.
Even after hearing that the only thing I'm going to get from staying and closing on my own day in and day out is just normal hourly, would you stay if you were in my shoes? Or would you just go early and not come back?
I feel like since I told them multiple times that I don't like doing a two-person job on my own and they still disregarded me after I told them I was going to leave. It's a good sign that I should just go, but I still have a hard time deciding on that. Should I just leave or should I just stay and deal with it to get as much money out of the place before I go.
