This note was left for an acquaintance in a hotel room that she was cleaning. Not sure the best place to post it.

The “guest” was a Department of Corrections employee, staying at the hotel for a training. Their rooms are often untidy, to say the least. Initially, they had left a note saying, “smile, you’re on camera.” She responded with “thanks, make sure you tip your housekeeper.” Upon check out, this note was left. Most cleaners don’t risk their job and criminal prosecution to steal what, your stinky clothes that smell like axe or your sticky tablet? This note comes off as condescending, in a weird twisted-friendly/threatening manner. They are in the hotel semi-frequently, and no one has ever stolen from them or been anything but friendly and accommodating. They don’t work for the hotel, and they can’t record people! Be nice to hospitality workers who clean your bathroom messes (and to these guests specifically, why were there so many body fluids on the floor?)
