Full Job Description
Job Summary: Perform a wide range of human resources, payroll, collections, and other clerical duties. Provide administrative support for Region Manager, Division Managers and regional office staff. Depending on the needs of the Regional Office; may perform all essential functions indicated below. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Functions:
Calculate, prepare, and process payroll.
Onboard new hires: schedule employment interviews and drug screening, prepare and complete new hire paperwork, request and review background checks, verify DMV reports, complete I-9 employment verification, and schedule drug screenings, and conduct new hire orientation.
Oversee records retention compliance for the assigned region.
Process termination paperwork for Corporate Human Resources approval.
Respond to employees with questions regarding company policies, payroll, and benefits.
Prepare accident reports and coordinate post-accident DOT drug testing and file workers’ compensation and auto accident claims.
Coordinate employee programs and activities including monthly birthdays, holiday potlucks, company picnic, holiday party, and quarterly/monthly/yearly Employee Star and other recognition awards.
May be assigned collection duties for the region (see Collector’s job description).
Perform other duties and/or tasks as instructed or assigned.
May travel of up to 20.
