I have a black beret with a polyamory flag badge pinned to it that I nearly always nearly wear whenever I am out of the house. I usually alternate between that, and a maroon beret with an anchor badge. Should I refrain from wearing it to an upcoming interview I have with a local public high school in a relatively affluent, upper middle class neighbourhood? The role is for a part-time performing arts co-coordinator role.
