Tipping the pool service guy

I called a pool service company yesterday to clear a pipe clog in my pool. The process literally took about 5 minutes to blow out the clog. The guy looked to be in early twenties and said he was the owner. The repair fee was $125 and I was glad to pay it. But I was paying with a credit card when prompted with a tip option screen. Before I came on this sub, I might’ve had a negative reaction to this situation. But it looks like reading the comments here has reconditioned my mind to be more empathetic and supportive to young people. I was glad to tip him the extra $20 for his quick work. I know all you young people could use the whatever help you can get. I notice I have been tipping far more even in situations I would not have in traditionally non tipping…

I just want to tell you that your speaking out is working to change minds of people. Keep it up! I support you young people and this will be your country to mold after the boomers are gone. I’m rooting for you.
