Hello Antiwork, long time Lurker with a throwaway account for this post. I need some help with an issue.
I work at a large Hotel on the graveyard shift and our staff get our Tips Pooled together in 24 hour periods. So one of the perks for working graveyard is we get 6 days worth of Tips instead of everyone on Days getting 5 days because working Graveyard, we work into the next day for up to 7 hours depending on schedule. New Boss decided that this extra day of Tips wasn't fair and took it away from the Graveyard crew. The person up the ladder from New Boss is on our side but wants to hear more arguments as to why we should get our Tips back because she is kind of afraid of confrontation. The Graveyard crew and I are coming up with arguments/alternate ideas such as a pay raise to keep our Tips and we will be presenting them to the higher ups soon but could use your help Ladies and Gents.
