At my current job I made the mistake of going above, and beyond right out the gate. This led to me feeling very burnt out, and eventually a mental breakdown that sent me to the hospital.
I'm looking for a new job now, but I don't want to repeat the same mistakes. The issue is I cannot tell anyone no to save my life, and I'm always offering myself to pick up extra tasks, or projects.
Can anyone tell me how they set boundaries at work?
