I am a hair dresser and overall I’m sick of every place I work at saying it’s ok to pay me a low wage Cus “you get tips” My tips should not be even factored into how you decide to pay me. Tips are a gift from a happy client. Not supplemental pay !! I’m tired of job openings say that it’s 20$ an hour only to go to an interview and being told “we only pay 12$ an hour but after you factor in most people tip 5-10$ per service it’s actually 20$” no!!! So annoying.
