Ever since I was a kid, I always loved games, and I always wanted to Be a Game Designer, but before i graduated, I always heard horror story after story that Game programmers get constantly shitted on all the time, get exploited at every turn, always crunching at work 24/7 with literally no end in sight, always on the edge of a nervous breakdown or getting fired because they are too tired to work faster than they already are, and really need rest. All these horror stories turned me away from thr video game industry eventually, and I just said to myself, this Career isn't worth my sanity. The money isn't worth it, and honestly, I kinda feel like shit every time I buy a game now, because how many workers have been shitted on constantly, just to bring my precious game into my dirty filthy consumer hands?
This fucking capitalistic society does everything it can to eventually make you hate yourself, and your job no matter how much of a dream it is for you. Stay safe out there fellow ANTIWORKERS
