For context, I started this job only 3 weeks ago, drilling holes in parts using an electron beam. This was my first manufacturing job and I was left to my own devices starting the 3rd day. The job was easy. Put two part on the machine, start it, clean the parts that came off, and prep parts to go on. Each set of parts takes 2 hours, leaving me plenty of time to complete other duties between and I would throw on Netflix while I worked, since I was by myself and had nobody to talk to. If I ever did something wrong, I was either left an obscure note, or I got a text from the boss. In either instance, no coaching or corrective action was taken so that I could do it right. Just “this was wrong”. The machine is super old and everything is in German so I can't exactly trouble shoot issues. If I missed something, it wouldn't be brought to my attention until the next day because I was the only one there aside from a couple people who had absolutely no idea how my machine works.
