Today I was offered approximately $30,000 less per year in pay to become a full time employee. But hold on now! HR said if I take on more responsibility I can make up to 3% more next year. (AKA more hours and more stress,) Wow! What an offer! Even with benefits and paid holidays, it’s a huge pay cut. Insulting in a way. Also motivating to get my butt in gear to do something different. (I’m leaning towards more money, less stress though,)
