I've had this job I hate for around half a year and have been looking to jump ship for a few weeks now. They're mean to me, act like I'm not even in the room, and half the time I get stuck working at the office by myself because they “work from home” last minute even though I don't get that option. I basically never got trained, but take on the responsibilities of others constantly. I wouldn't mind doing a little extra work if someone were at least thankful, but they treat me like garbage even though I'm the only one showing up every single day and doing all of their jobs! I ended up getting an offer I couldn't refuse, but they wanted me to start immediately. I begged them to give me one week so I didn't have to leave without notice and they obliged. Then I came in to see my current job was posted on Indeed. Stumbled upon it myself. So they think they're going to get rid of me? Not only get rid of me, but they think they're going to replace me behind my back, probably have me train someone to do my job, then fire me with no notice? Yeah, I won't be back Monday. I have a very strongly worded letter written up to send out at 5pm when I'm clocking out for the day. At least I finished out my week!
