Today my boss called my sick coworker to come into work.

So my coworker lives far away. He was sick that day. Boss called him because he had no one to cover the day shift (2pm-12am). The boss lied on the phone, saying he only needed to stay there for two hours. And that someone else will come in within two hours and cover the rest of the shift. Once my sick coworker came into work at 2pm, the boss said the guys covering the whole shift and immediately left. There are several problems with this in my opinion Lying on the phone that he only needs to stay there for two hours instead of the whole 10 hours Forcing a sick guy to come to work Putting everyone at work at risk.   1. Lying on the phone that he only needs to stay there for two hours instead of the whole 10 hours
  2. Forcing a sick guy to come to work
  3. Putting everyone at work at risk. Everyone at work is now exposed to the guys sickness. Anyone at work could get his sickness. The boss literally shouldn't want him to come to work. Because it could mean more sick coworkers
