Hey y'all, long time lurker and first time posting here. I just recently left my old job and I told my supervisor that my coworker was mainly the reason I decided to leave. My supervisor said they have gotten numerous complaints about her and someone also told her that this coworker was bullying me. They said that my coworker I am talking about would be fired because of other complaints and numerous other things she has done. I did not want to be the one to get her fired but they assured me that this won't be the only reason she was getting fired and said that my name would never be mentioned. I told them about all the lack of professionalism and rudeness to patients (work in a healthcare clinic) and myself and other coworkers.
It's been about two weeks since I left but I talk to one of my friends from there and they are saying that everyone knows I left because of this person! I was like what???? Even she knows that I said something about her. I thought HR and my supervisor were supposed to handle this in a way where I would not be mentioned at all. My friend said everyone knows about it now. She still has a job there as well after they said that she would be fired. How much of a 🤡 am I for thinking my supervisor and HR would keep me out of it?
