Gave my two weeks notice last week. I love my supervisor and the only other person on my team but I can't stand the organization. My bosses boss set up a meeting to discuss under what conditions I would be willing to stay (there weren't any) but I had the meeting out of curiosity. When I started this job, I was told my schedule was 7a-5p M-F and I am salary so I don't get OT. A few months ago they came back and revised it to 7a-4:30p (I work in finance).
I told them for me to stay, they would have to meet all the things my new job offers, including a massive pay raise, fully remote with flexible hours, working 7-3:30 with a 30 minute lunch, and a monthly stipend to pay for wifi.
After a day or two he followed up and said they would be willing to meet the pay but unwilling to go from working 3 days a week in office to full remote or changing my working hours. I told him I am out then.
It blows my mind they would be willing to pay more but unwilling to make adjustments that literally cost them nothing. We were remote for almost 2 full years. I wanted a new job to improve my work life balance, the pay increase was just a nice add-on. They just want us there for some unknown reason, also, my manager and co-worker work in a different state so I have never even met them in person.
