Does anyone have any advice/insight on working for travel agencies or working as a travel consultant? I am way too stressed out by my current job and believed until recently it was my office environment, but now I am thinking that the field I am currently in is just not right for me. I was looking into some WFH positions and came across a couple travel agent ads and thought about looking into it, but from my basic research and a couple responses to postings I've applied for, I am getting some weird pyramid scheme vibes. Most of the “interviews” I was invited to attend were time-slotted, hour long “Intro Presentations” and several seemingly different companies sent me very similar verbiage on the emails.
Wondering if anyone has has any experience/success in the travel arrangement industry? Thanks! 🙂
