Traveling for work

I am sick of traveling for my job. I have the unfortunate experience of managing night time construction projects and recently my company stuck me managing a job in a location that is 4 hours away from home. I’m salary and not getting paid any extra other than a shitty per diem, and I basically have had no weekend for the last 3 months since I’ve been bagholding this pos project. Since being stuck with this shit project I have put 10k miles on my truck with all the ridiculous driving, and the company seems to be making no effort to line someone up who lives closer to take over. The main problem being that they can’t find anyone with basic intelligence…

Since being stuck with this shit project I have put 10k miles on my truck with all the ridiculous driving, and the company seems to be making no effort to line someone up who lives closer to take over. The main problem being that they can’t find anyone with basic intelligence to begin with.

On top of the ridiculous travel, I am managing complete idiots. Constantly fixing other peoples fuck ups and having to deal with a bunch of guys showing up who don’t even speak English.
