Not going to go into too much detail, but I had a performance review recently, and the things he said and wrote about me were so over-the-top cruel that it all hit me at once.
This man has been subtly and not so subtly trying to use intimidation and put downs to make me feel so crappy about myself that I quit. And I would have fallen for it, too, had I not really carefully read his write up. I had wanted to avoid it bc our verbal meeting already had intimidated me and made me feel like crap, but when I read the write up it was like everything just suddenly made sense.
This man is trash. He is so pathetic that he will resort to manipulation to try to push his employee out of his group.
There are other things I’ve discovered through other coworkers but suffice to say, he is a garbage human being.
