So today I got pulled in not by my manger, not by her manger, not by his manger. But by the boss because their have been reports about me dating back to around my last reddit post on AITA. Not in regards to it but the contents of it, were as simple, I was tricked into working extra hours, I stopped and ever since then my Manger has been writing down bad reports about me, pretty much to the day I stopped coming in early before me shift started.
The big boss ended my shift early, pulled me into his office and was like “So tell me the issue?”
I had no idea this was coming, but he had receipts and when he realized I had no idea what was going on he stopped and proved he wasn't a corporate monster for half a second by saying “Huh so she gave us this but never said a thing to you, which as your boss she was supposed?”
After busting my arse off for 7 our of an 8 hour shift, I was told this and that the manager was threatening to walk out because of me. And since her father is head of security at the venue I was in deep trouble. Best part is the last complaint about me was when I didn't work with her, which was amazing as I could show my boss I didn't work with her at all.
They clocked me off early made me waste an hour of my time, half waiting another half telling me how disappointed they am in me. For your information I am the only Guy and Person of Colour in that outlet. We've had a few come through but all leave because well, the company has other sites and they are not mistreated their.
The best part comes at the end when the guy under him told me “I'll see you next week.”
I didn't say it to him but I don't think he realized just how I'm not going to see him next week or any week after that. Good thing though is now I know that my Manager resents me and she doesn't yet know because of circumstances so far. Literally got a message from her asking me when I'd be back. Pretty much told her I was signed out and being two faced she told me how sad that was because she needed the extra hands.
Basically I checked the dates and the moment I stopped giving 'free labour' my boss started writing up reports about me not being good or productive.
