So I have been with my current employer for almost 6 years. IV been trying to move into a management role for the past two years. Every chance I have had to move up they have chosen to go with another candidate. Should I even keep trying with this company when they won't promote from within. I'm always told “this person interview a little bit better” or “your current peers wouldn't accept you in this new role”.
