Unbelievably irritated…

So I work in a call center for a popular crafting vinyl cutter. They just updated their attendance policy so that it now no longer matters if you have pto or not. If you’re sick it’s a unexcused absence unless you get a doctor’s note. They’ve also added we can be put on mandatory ot at any given time with no notice as well as change our schedules with no notice. I’ve been reassured by upper management “of course that’ll never actually happen” Then why put the verbiage that way in the policy. As far as the doctor’s note. So I have to now ask my husband to take time off work, because we only have one car currently, drive 12 miles to the Dr and pay $110 just to have my dr tell me rest and liquids. Guess I have to schedule the flu next Tuesday.
