underpaid and no chance of a raise

On mobile and all that. I've been working at a facility for 4.5 years. The facility went from a privately owned business to being bought by a large corporation. In 4.5 years, I have not been offered a raise. When I asked about one shortly before the corporate transfer, I was told it would be discussed (we didn't know about the corporate transfer at the time). Corporation takes over and freezes everyone's pay “for a year” to assess. We are now 1.5 years post acquisition and they're still not committing to raises. They won't even discuss it. HR's focus is recruitment, not retention. The new workers are making more than old workers with less experience. Finding another job with comparable pay is next to impossible. I've applied to dozens of jobs and only gotten requests for interviews for a handful. So fed up. Thanks for reading this.
