I see quite a lot of posts on here with people quitting over a lower payrate then what they agreed on. I'm not from the US so this confuses me a bit. Is it not normal to get a written contract that says how much you'll get paid? Can't imagine it'd be worth it for employers to risk getting sued with written evidence over a couple bucks an hour.
