No unexcused absences. Actually an overachiever. Now I'm stuck at home while my colleagues are enjoying their three day weekend because my employer admits to dropping the ball with their payroll (over 5 days late). Checks are bouncing. Credit cards maxed out.

Union is filing a grievance, but I think California state law may yield more of a remedy to my predicament, unless I demand substantive compensation in my grievance. But the Union usually doesn't want to stick it's head out. I don't know. Fuck work.
