Update about my daughter setting boundaries with her first employer

So an update to this post. She worked last night, but the manager she needed to talk to wasn't there, so she went in this afternoon to speak with the manager and the manager immediately tipped her hand by worriedly asking if she was there to call out because she doesn't have enough workers. She's scheduled to work tonight. She told her that she couldn't work all those hours and they tried to pull that “well, we can't change the schedule” bullshit, but she wasn't having it, she told her that she couldn't work those hours and her boss got the point and now my daughter understands the power of labor. Employers hate this one simple trick And the best part is, it's not some secret we don't want getting out. And the best part is, it's not some secret we don't want getting out. Unlike some other things that are ruined by more people knowing about them, this is only improved. The more people who do this, the less people will need to know about it, because employers will eventually expect it, it will become the new normal. I'm telling her to tell all her friends
