So she called and we talked and she said it was a mistake that the payment would be sent on June 16th. I said ok, so what are we going to do to fix it? I asked if she had re scheduled the payment and then she told me “that’s not how it works” and that she would have to cancel the payment and the computer will pick a new, earlier date. The system she uses is Quickbooks, and I am paid as a non employee. I feel like what she said is bullshit. Is anyone familiar with the Quickbooks system that can tell me if this is true or not? I feel like there’s no way it’s not possible for her to simply cancel and reschedule the payment to an earlier date manually.
TLDR: My job usually pays me within the first week of the month, June’s payment isn’t coming until the 16th which interferes with the timing of bills/ my whole financial planning system, boss has yet to rectify the issue.
