Update: Got a new job where I’m now earning about 50% more than the last job

I was unaware of this policy as no HR policy was shared with us. I took paternity leave and had my salary deducted. Left the organisation immediately. Now the update: After leaving the organization, I went on to join the offer I had with me with about a 15% raise. I keep interviewing to stay sharp. I was interviewing for other positions even now. And lady luck has smiled on me. I've got my dream job now. The pay is much higher than the last job. Nearly 50%. Plus ESOPs. And the coveted PM role. Oh, and my baby is also doing well. Moral: Don't be afraid of leaving companies that suck the life out of you. There are better opportunities waiting for everyone if you keep…

Moral: Don't be afraid of leaving companies that suck the life out of you. There are better opportunities waiting for everyone if you keep trying.
