First of all, she didn't even know I was trans and didn't recognize me, even though I came out very publicly back in April.
So that fucking sucks
Second, she doubled down that her generation didn't have any easy jobs and still got paid minimum wage, despite the wage in 1980 (roughly the time period she is talking about) would be worth 11-12 dollars now, with every $1 worth $3.55 now.
I already commented with the inflation calculator and some numbers, but I'll ask again, if anyone has any statistics, sources, and information that may convince her otherwise please let me know.
