This is an update to this post..
So my daughter got to work today and found out that thanks to her go-worker not telling her about a new form, she’s been doing her job wrong for nearly 3 weeks, and had a nasty email from her manager.
So because one of her favorite clients is coming in tomorrow, and she wants to break the news personally, she’s done after tomorrow. She moved up her flight, and is dropping off her keys Wednesday morning, and that’s it. I tried to encourage her to quit today, but she’s trying to be the bigger person.
But she did already compose her email that says she’s done, and it’s BRUTAL. She goes into detail, but it concludes with “perhaps if you had been less condescending, rude, and frankly heartless, I would have stayed for my entire notice period. As it is, I wish you luck explaining why a regional manager is covering a lowly CSR’s hours.”
I think I’ve done an okay job parenting, frankly.
