I’m hoping someone can clear this up for me ? Why do I keep seeing in the post here “this employeer did a good job at stopping ex employee from claiming unemployment”. I’m in the UK and I don’t understand , does the employer have to pay towards unemployment ? Why would they do this, as far as I know in the uk, if you’re unemployed it makes zero difference to your former employer but from what I’m reading on Reddit, this seems like a thing in the USA ? Could someone please enlighten me?
