If your employer:
- tried to restrict or ban talk about unions at work, but talking about other topics is allowed
- fired, threatened to fire or otherwise punish people for supporting a union
- tried to restrict or ban you from discussing about your working conditions, etc. with other coworkers, but talking about other topics is allowed
- as well as certain other instances of discrimination, threats, and anti-union behavior
This may be unlawful behavior!
You can complain to the NLRB here and get them punished.
https://apps.nlrb.gov/chargeandpetition/
Click start > File a Charge > Employer and then follow the steps.
You will gain benefits such as:
- reinstated with back pay if fired
- anti-union rules dropped
- etc.
Also, contact a union and work with a union to unionize your workplace. (e.g. here https://workerorganizing.org/support/)
