I wanted to say this, as I've been a frequent lurker on this sub. I actually enjoy working, but only if it has meaning, like delivering medicine to those in need. Or serving food to those who can't afford it. Shoot I was able to prevent a suicide and it warmed my heart that they got help and recovered.
My main point is that I think capitalists in my home country (US) have recently tried to re-define the narrative for workers. “No one wants to work!” they cry.
I work two jobs, fuck them. They need to understand that work is meant to benefit the local community, such has farmer keeping all of us alive. Or food service workers fulfilling an order for delivery.
This post is purely to vent but I love discussion and would love to connect with people!
