I’m working in an office. When I started 3 years ago, it was me and 2 colleagues. First one left for maternity. Then the other, just as the first one got back. Our boss employed another person, but after half a year she quit (for worse conditions – which should tell him something). And then he was happy to save money and promise me and collegaue a raise next year. After a month it turned out she will be gone for maternity soon. Since then she’s been sick all the time (not her fault – fuck our boss for not finding a help earlier) so I’ve been carrying the whole company. 5 sales reps plus one more country I take care of. I have to take care of literally everything, from A to Z. New person starts on Monday and I will have to teach her as well. Of course I’m promised higher pay, but that’s not even it. I’m just too tired. I can’t sleep. My body hurts all the time and I can feel the stress eating me. I’m so close to giving month notice and then taking sick leave. So, vent over.
