So here is the thing, I have a crappy job where 90% of time there is no work no do, and I can´t even browse the social media or the newspaper because of a transparent proxy in the office network, so I have to sit for several hours staring at a blank screen. So I am not doing this to do time theft. Anyways is a temp job and already know I am getting out.
So here is the thing, I have tried installing first ****vpn, then ****vpn and then openvpn connecting to ****vpn, but they refuse to connect and tell me they time out.
It is not the firewall as I disabled it. (God knows why , but I happen to actually have admin access on my office PC, just because).
So i tried to get my (private) cell phone, connect it to the work WIFI network (same network as the wired one I am trying to bypass) and I installed the openvpn on my cellphone. It works perfectly fine, now I can use my cellphone at my company's expense to browse reddit.
However when i install the SAME vpn client with exactly the SAME config, it just wont work.
Any Ideas?
