Wage Deflation

When I started my current job at a hotel 8 years ago, minimum wage was 9.00 (California) and I was earning 13.00, which was 44% above. Now I earn 17.00 and minimum wage is 15.00, which is only 13% above. My previous jobs use to raise my wages by at least the dollar amount that minimum wage would go up by, even though it would still amount to a lower percentage over the long run. Is this happening to all of you, too? The hotel I work for has raised their rates to crazy levels, and has had record business all through Covid. I'm trying everything I can to get a raise, but it's not working (they just gave me a ridiculous 0.25 “cost of living wage”). They also took away my 5 days paid vacation that I hadn't had since before Covid. I'm thinking about quitting, but the issue…
