Earlier this year I got a part job working remotely. The job consist mostly of receiving 4 different types of documents via email (sometimes pictures, scanned or pdfs) and I have to take information from those, put it into an excel sheet and reply to the email with a “confirmation of receipt”.
It's super boring. Few weeks after I started, I made a bot that does all this work for me, without supervision. The bot even knows when it should start and stop working based on the roaster I receive my email each week.
Yesterday, I got an email praising “my” work and how I was the fastest worker on the team lol. Got a promotion.
