Wage Discrimination Due to Being Married

Today I had a long talk with my boss about the wages of all of the employees including my own. Several others have come to me saying they are going to quit soon if hourly wages aren’t raised. While discussing this I pointed out that other companies in the area are offering $10/hr more for my position. I make $15/hr providing bookkeeping, AP, payroll, and HR duties. His response? $15/ hr is NOT a livable wage at this time, but it’s ok, because I am married. He said he is factoring in my husband’s wages to justify keeping my hourly so low. I’m pretty devastated by this.
