Walked away from my job today with no notice after finding better work. Thank you r/antiwork!

My job and coworkers were cool, but my boss was an asshole of epic proportions. He went so far as to tell me if I couldn’t handle my job, to start looking for a new opportunity. Not sure why he didn’t think I was “handling” my job. Anyways, long story short, I scored a new job at a much better company with better pay, hours and it’s 4.8 miles from my front door. I went to hr about my boss and they were extremely interested and said they’re escalating to the owner. It felt so good to get that all off my chest that I left feeling like I was walking on air.
