3 weeks ago I went on my lunch break while working at Jiffy Lube and never came back, I'm yet to be fired and am continually being sent email reminders about onboarding paperwork I never finished (I walked out my first week due to numerous instances of stolen time and sexism directed at other employees by the manager that I couldnt deal with)
They also had my paycheck sent to the store instead of my home address despite it having been addressed to be mailed directly from Texas to my door in NH, I believe this was an attempt for them to flget me to formally state that I was quitting. I didn't realize this in the moment. The manager pulled the envelope away when I reached for it and asked if I had a minute to talk and I just said no and took it from him and left.
My only thought is that they're probably trying to avoid officially firing me to avoid paying unemployment (which I wasn't going to try to claim anyways) but overall the whole thing is just strange to me, them acting on paper like I still work there, still putting me on a schedule, still marking me as absent for every shift I miss.
