I'm currently working two jobs to help support my family. We just bought a house and the financial burden isn't unbearable but the second gig with cash was helping. I started at this mom and pop place like 3 weeks ago. Everything was decent up until today, there is a pretty strict no phone policy which wasn't really an issue until today. (Stayed pretty busy didn't have time) came in for my shift this morning and we had 0 business… 10 servers maybe 4 tables on the floor. We aren't allowed to clean I'm front of guests and everything in the back was done. So I hopped on my phone. The owner came back and saw me and DEMANDED I did 10 pushups for being caught on my phone. I refused and told him that was ridiculous. He told me we were going to talk later. I told him not to worry about it and walked out. Felt pretty nice not gonna lie.
