i JUST got off a phone interview at Walmart and the red flags were so loud
first: i corrected her on how to say my name and she still said it how she initially said it after my correction
second : it was a 10 hour shift almost every day even though i applied for part time and when i told her i went to school she said school couldnt conflict with my work responsibilities and asked if i could work outside my availability, no thats my availability for a reason
third : she asked if i had another job and when i said yea she asked if i was gonna give my two weeks notice?! like bro yes wtf because she wanted me to start this week (as in tuesday)
—-at this point i knew i wasnt going to take the job but i didnt want to just hang up even tho she was pissing me off
fourth : when i told her i could start like begining of the month (two and a half weeks from now) she said that that was too far out thag it was a month away like bro do you know time?!??
fifth : she asked me if i had a friend working at walmart and i said yes she asked which one and i told her it was route 18 – A and she got an attitude saying it was route 18 – B , like yes u mentioned it 4 times before im not deaf
sixth : she said to give my two weeks at my job and then call her to set up to another interview to see like no thanks im not gonna be unemployed just for you to “see”
edit : i applied for the B location because they pay 21 an hour and my brother and friends work there and they say it’s pretty chill and the managers arent awful, but i also put i could work at A just to see but they pay 17 which is less than what i make now
