Want to negotiate salary for job offer – Unique (?) situation

I received an offer today for my dream role.

Everything is perfect but the salary is 20-30% lower than the desired salary I specified.

The job listing had a salary range listed and my desired range was at the top of their listed range. Therefore, my salary request is in their budget. I want to negotiate a salary closer to my specified range.

The dilemma is that the job posting asked for 3+ years of experience and I only have a little over a year. However, my skill set and experience perfectly align with the job requirements and I believe that my wide range of strengths are rare. This is a highly skilled position and I feel 100% confident in my ability to do this role really well.

So with that said, the offer is in the 33rd percentile of their listed salary range but 20% less than my stated desired salary. Should I try to negotiate for more or just be grateful I even got an offer given my limited length of experience. If I should negotiate, how would you approach it?
