Warehouse doesn’t give a shit if there’s a heat wave.

The heat earlier this week has made me so sick that I had to call off earlier this week and spend the day in a cold shower. It's since escalated to the point that there is a heat advisory. Temperatures could get up to 100F. The warehouse I work in has lousy AC that doesn't compensate for the heat of machines and bodies. I brought this up to the supervisors and they told me to just stay hydrated, so I did as I was told and drank a half gallon over four hours. I peed pure water six times that day but was still unable to cool down. At a certain point what you need is cooler temperatures and less work, not just more water. I'm dreading going in to work so much but I'm on my last sick day or possibly my last two sick days. Plus I need…
