Basically, I want to have my hours reduced to 20 according to the terms of my employment. Asked my manager and they said it’s not possible because we’re short staffed.
When I was in training and we were still short-staffed, we got covers from other locations multiple times so I know it’s just a BS excuse.
I’m willing to compromise and give them an ultimatum: “Reduce my hours to twenty or give me full-time benefits.”
Can my employer just say no and force me to accept the situation or quit?
