I’m 20 and I worked at a grocery store. I was 40 days into my probation. A few days before my boss cut my hours so I had five days off and told my coworkers I sucked at my job she thought I was autistic. I didnt handle it well but the management said they agreed she was out of line and ask if I want to pursue it. I say yes. I come to work today a week later and it’s my bosses first day back from vacation but she’s not there. Her boss is there and the manager. They walk me outside and say I’m not a good fit for the company. They wouldn’t give me a reason but gave me a check for the next three days I was scheduled. They said I failed my probation that still had a month. I wasn’t good at my job but I tried my hardest and was never really given a warning ever. I thought I was improving. Was I fired or laid off?
