Was I right or wrong? (Quitting my job at a mobile phone store)

This has always kinda plagued me. I used to work for a big mobile phone store here in the uk. It was great generally and I did exceptionally well, a few assholes but nothing I thought I couldn’t handle. The rules were that, at Christmas we were allowed either Christmas Eve or boxing day off. I chose Christmas Eve as, in my household, we do a Christmas Day buildup type of thing so Boxing Day doesn’t really matter too much to us. My request was accepted and for several months I felt comfortable knowing that I got the day that I wanted and the bosses had confirmed that several times. However, the other person that had kids had a thing for the boss (store manager) and there was some serious inappropriate behaviour going on in our store. Then another young girl joined and started flirting with our general manager and it became inappropriate in regards to that too; especially as he had a gf. Skip forward to about a week before Christmas and these girls that had been flirting with our managers turn around and explain to me that they had decided to allow these two people (main boss wanted to drink wine with his gf in a cabin- yes he had a gf too-& general manager just fancied both off, but was very young- still in his teens) to have both of those Christmas days off which meant that we would ALL have to be working to make up for a fact that they both wouldn’t be there. I automatically hit the roof and explained that seeing as I had children and Christmas is their thing (even though my birthday is Christmas Day lol), I wouldn’t be changing my shift pattern and I have booked it months in advance, when I tried to speak to the managers about it they were extremely vague and kept trailing off. In the end the two girls then refused to budge, even though I told them that it was unfair how we are being treated especially in regards to the one with children. I thought she would want to do the Christmas thing like me and a lot of other parents. Tbh It looked like they were completely Googley-eyed for the guys- giving serious Mason-sister vibes (they were that obsessed)- and actually took offence that I had anything to say and tried to convince me just to quietly work the shift without any fuss. I quit there and then, never came in, but I kind of do regret it because the company had great benefits and great parties in which I met a lot of great people including some of the top people in the company! I kind of really regretted how I left and have always wondered what would have happened if I stayed….
