So, long story short, I’m from a Latin America country and was working as a contractor for an startup in California.
Things were not a expected, since I was meant to start as a mid level developer and they wanted senior performance. That’s ok, startups needs to move faster so I just quitted. Let’s put aside the fact I had an stable job that left believing on career path and stability promises that were massively fake since day 1.
They said on a mail I would be paid for the days I worked but that hasn’t happened at all. I tried to reach them by email or social media and no success, so I get I was scammed by these fellas. Is there anything I can do against them? Let’s put money aside, I want them to have a pretty bad time.
